The cost of a coffee!

Are you someone that loves a coffeeshop coffee, those things are addictive. Could you consider a challenge with you and your colleagues/friends, whatever works for you? Could you risk going without one coffee a week and send us what you would have spent on it instead? A cappuccino in a high-street coffee shop costs around £4.40. Just think what that could do to help others. If we use a well-known discounter as an example, I roughly know the prices there, you could buy a family-sized loaf of bread, 2 cans of baked beans, two cans of spaghetti hoops, a bag of potatoes, 2 cans of soup, a bunch of five bananas for the cost of the coffee, round it up to £5 and you can include a small packet of biscuits. This is just an example of what could be done. Equally, you could hold a sponsored event at your workplace and fund-raise for us. The options are endless, a sponsored bake sale, sponsored silence, and bike ride. To quote a well-known supermarket “every little helps”. So if regular donations are not your thing and you like to do something more spontaneous, please consider using our Just Giving link here.
